Introducing The Cork Wine School

Gary O’Donovan is pleased to announce the unveiling of the Cork Wine School, which will provide wine education classes for the people in the south of the country. With the unfortunate closure of the Wine Board of Ireland in the summer of 2009 there has been a void in the provision of wine education in Ireland as the Wine Board was the sole provider of WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Accredited courses in Ireland. The Cork Wine School will has now been set up to provide people based in the south of the country with a means by which to learn about - and further their enjoyment of - the wonderful world of wine

Gary O’Donovan has over 15 years experience lecturing for the Wine Board of Ireland, is a member of the Champagne Academy and brings a wealth of knowledge of the wine industry and wine tasting and expertise.

The courses are ideal for those in the hospitality industry looking to further their skills, and are also great for people with a thirst for wine knowledge. For further information click here.

O'Donovans Win NOffLA Award!

For the second year in a row O'Donovans have been declared winners of the Specialist Off Licence Group of the Year Award at the National Off Licence Awards held in Dublin last week. The Award is in recognition of the customer service, product range, hygiene, general appearance, product knowledge and inviting shopping experience that O'Donovans attempt to deliver consistently across all 15 stores.
