A deep and bright red violet wine with balanced aromas and red fruit and spice notes. It is refreshing and voluptuous in the mouth, with fine and gentle tannins, while it is clean and expressive in the palate, with a strong character, typicity and a deep finish with soft smoked hues as a result of its ageing in oak barrels.
This wine is a very attractive and intense vivid red colour. In the bouquet, ripe red fruit combines with
the complexity of the wood, which provides notes of vanilla, chocolate, tobacco and hazelnuts. The
palate has good volume and gentle, well-rounded tannins.
This wine is made from a blend of fruit grown in the Goulburn Valley Eastern Australia from our own vineyards. Following delivery and crushing of the grapes during the cool of the night, the Sauvignon Blanc juice was cold settled and racked. An aromatic yeast was used for inocculation and this parcel was cool fermented for 7 days. The resulting wine is fresh and vibrant showing lovely tropical fruit flavours with a hint of typical herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc characters.
